Dennis Watson is the founding and Lead Pastor of Celebration Church of New Orleans, Louisiana. Celebration Church is a multi-cultural, purpose-driven, multi-site church that began in 1989. Since 1989 the Celebration Congregation has grown to over 10,000 members and 7000 in weekly worship attendance, while helping to start 10 other churches in South Louisiana, 8 churches in other U.S. cities, and 103 churches around the world. Celebration Church is well known throughout the nation and world for its innovative worship services, commitment to evangelism and discipleship, small-group ministry, and involvement in compassion and inner city ministries. It is also known globally for its support of missionaries and missions enterprises, and for training Christian Pastors and leaders in countries around the world.
One of Dennis Watson’s passions and priorities is training Pastors and Christian Leaders, as well as Business, Educational and Government Leaders. He and his wife Vicki also lead Marriage Conferences and Mentor other Pastors and their Wives. Dennis has served in leadership with the North American Mission Board. As a result of his leadership in his region and state following the tragedy of Hurricane Katrina, he was named as an honorary Senator and Congressman by the government leaders of Louisiana.
Dennis and Vicki have two adult children, one son-in-law and three grandsons. Vicki has spoken at Women’s Conferences and leads the Women’s Ministry at Celebration Church.
