It’s not too late to register for our 2022 Difference Makers Conference

Hello, Celebration Family. I’m John Frady. Pastor Dennis is returning today from Costa Rica, so I’m honored to be here with you on today’s connecting point.

It’s not too late to register for our 2022 Difference Makers Conference. At this year’s conference, we are blessed to have Pastor Mike Haman as our keynote speaker. Pastor Mike and his wife Rachel serve as the Lead Pastors of Healing Place Church in Baton Rouge, where they oversee all the Church’s local and international congregations and ministries. Before becoming Lead Pastors Pastor Mike and Rachel had previously served at Healing Place as pastors in the youth, young adult, discipleship, and missions ministries. Pastor Mike is the author of The Second Mile, a book which encourages people to go the distance to fulfill their purpose in life. You’ll be blessed to hear Pastor Mike only if you register at or at the QR code below.

We are also pleased to welcome Worship Leader Jake Smith to our conference. A native New Orleanian, Jake serves as the Creative Pastor and Regional Worship Pastor for Destiny Worship Center in Destin, Florida. Besides leading worship with some of our Celebration Church worship leaders, Jake will be leading the conference breakout for our Worship and AVL Ministries.

In addition to Jake’s breakout session, we have an impressive lineup of breakout sessions at this year’s conference. WDSU anchor Sula Kim will be hosting a panel of pastors and leaders for the breakout for our Life Group Leaders, Pastor Manley Miller will be leading our breakout session for Leaders of Leaders, Pastor Trevor Truitt will be leading the session for Prayer Leaders. The Social Leaders will hear from Dr. David Odom from New Orleans Seminary. Midpoint Leaders will be hearing from Bianca Rios, Uptown Leaders from Julie Boudreaux, and Downtown Leaders from Dr. Kathy Frady from the SUM Bible College and Seminary. Make sure to indicate which of these seminars you would like to attend when registering for the conference at or at the QR code below.

This year’s Difference Makers Conference is not just for adults. This year, we’ll have educational and exciting Ministry for kids, middle schoolers, and teens. Our kids and students will hear some great faith stories and then learn how to craft their own testimony before having the opportunity to practice sharing their Faith with others. These groups will also have times of recreation, snacks, and of course, lots of pizza. Young people can register just like the adults at We hope to see all of our pastors and leaders at this year’s Difference Makers Conference.
October is known as Pastor’s Appreciation Month. This past week, a sweet lady from one of our congregations sent my wife and I a note telling us how much she appreciated us and our ministry. We know this often goes without saying, but it meant so much to us to see her words written out on paper. So, as a Central Support Pastor who supports our Lead Pastor, Campus Pastors, and staff, let me encourage you to let your Campus Pastors, Associate Pastors, Life Group Pastors, Youth, Midpoint, and Kidztown Pastors, Worship Leaders, and other campus staff members know how much you appreciate them. You could send them a note or card or even an email or text. Many of them will save these items in their desks and pull them out during times of discouragement. Believe me, it’s truly a way you can make a difference in their lives and ministries and they will appreciate it and you more than you know.

I mentioned earlier that Pastor Dennis was in Costa Rica. Actually, Pastor Dennis, Mrs. Vicki, Pastor Trevor Truitt, and a Celebration Church team have spent the last week or so ministering to people in and near our campus ministries there in Turrialba, Costa Rica. Please be praying for them as they return today. Be watching for updates on their trip over the next several days and weeks.
