Why we Exist

We exist to reach teenagers and equip then to become over-comers and live a life of victory, through Jesus Christ, in such an immoral and corrupt world.     

Our Goal

Our goal is to see the youth of metro New Orleans transformed into followers and disciple-makers of Jesus Christ.     

What we Do

This is what we do to help carry out the existence and goal of Celebration Church’s Vertical Youth Ministry.

Weekend Worship Services:

We would like to invite you to regularly participate in our weekly weekend worship services.  There’s a Saturday Night Worship Service @ 6:00 PM, and two on Sunday @ 9:00 am & 10:45 am.  These services are designed to help you grow in your faith as an individual or as a family.  If your family already comes, great!  If not, use these services to encourage your friends and family to come with you.       

Special Events:

In addition to our weekly Vertical Youth Services, LIFE Groups, and Weekend Worship Services, we plan several Events throughout the year.  These are great ways for you to have tons of fun, meet new friends, experience God in a whole new way, and build memories you won’t forget for the rest of your life!  Here are just a few examples of some of the things we do:
  • Summer Camps
  • Ski Trip
  • Mission Trip
  • Paintball
  • Camping
  • Retreats
  • Concerts
  • Junk Nights     

Celebration Journey Track:

This is a brand new series of classes, discipleship materials, and training to help you get better connected to God, Celebration Church, the Youth Ministry, and others.  These classes are strategically designed to help take the “new Christian” on a journey of discipleship.  If you stay on track with these classes, you will have the training to become a leader and minister not only in the youth ministry and church, but in your daily life as well.            

How You Can Get Involved & Stay Connected

  • Regularly attend Wednesday Night Vertical Services, a LIFE Group, and Weekend Worship Services.     
  • Come to as many Special Events as you can!     
  • Attend the classes and complete the materials on the Celebration Journey Track
  • Stay up-to-date and informed with everything that’s going on through regularly checking our website and myspace page, and
  • picking up Announcements Sheets that we have available at all of our Events.  

Volunteer Opportunities

As a teen, parent, or interested adult, you play a vital role in Vertical’s Youth Ministry.  Therefore, we challenge you to get involved as either a leader or volunteer in the Youth Ministry.  There are several ways you can do this: 
  • Encourage others (including your child) to stay plugged into the Church and Youth Ministry.     
  • Commit to attending Weekend Worship Services.     
  • Commit to attending and helping out with Wednesday Night Vertical Youth Services.     
  • Open your home to host a Youth LIFE Group, or lead a Youth LIFE Group.     
  • Be a chaperone on a Trip.     
  • Support the Church and Youth Ministry financially.     
  • Consider being a part of the Youth Leadership Team.     
  • Donate items such as food, games and materials, sports equipment, giveaways, etc. to the Youth Ministry.     
  • Stay informed and up-to-date by checking out our website, myspace page, and picking up Announcements Sheets at any of our Events, and attending appropriate meetings.
