Dennis Watson is the founding and Lead Pastor of Celebration Church of New Orleans, Louisiana.  Celebration Church is a multi-cultural purpose-driven church that began in 1989.  Since 1989 the Celebration Congregation has grown to over 3000 members, while starting seven other churches in New Orleans and South Louisiana, five churches in other U.S. cities, and over twenty-five churches around the world.  Dennis has led Celebration Church to be known throughout the nation for its innovative worship services, commitment to evangelism and discipleship, life-group ministry, and involvement in inner city ministry.  It is also known throughout the world for its support of missionaries and missions enterprises, and for training Christian leaders in many countries around the world.

Prior to coming to Celebration Church, Dennis served as the Senior Pastor of the First Baptist Church of Chalmette, Louisiana.  That church doubled in attendance during his tenure, while at the same time sponsoring 1 mission church.  Previous to that he ministered as an itinerant evangelist and as a staff member of several churches.  He is a native of Florida, and a graduate of Florida State University and the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.

Dennis Watson is a much sought after speaker, having spoken at Evangelism Conferences, Pastor's Conferences, Leadership Conferences, Marriage and Family Conferences, Single Adult Conferences, Businessperson's Conferences, Seminary Chapel Services and in Seminary Classrooms.  He is also the teacher on the weekday Radio program "Celebrate The Victory" (89.1 FM in New Orleans).

Dennis and his wife Vicki have two adult children, one son-in-law and two grandchildren.  Vicki has spoken at several Women's Conferences and leads the Women’s Ministry and the Praise Troupe Ministry at Celebration Church.
