The Women's Victory Retreat ended Feb. 20th. Ladies traveled to Kiln, Mississippi for a weekend to experience freedom in Christ. They were moved into an understanding of the damage of strongholds such as bitterness, resentment and sinful habits that keep us defeated. We hope to see you at our next Women's Victory weekend.

Last Night we had over 100 people at our Leadership Summit. We spent time worshipping and praising the Lord, Praying for our Church and one another, and hearing testimonies from our campus pastors about what God has been doing in the last few months...and our expectations of what he will do in the coming months.

Xtreme Wednesdays was called Splish Slash this week - Over 85 kids attended for FUN! FUN! FUN! They painted with their toes and had water balloon relays and soaker ball tosses. They also learned about the "sharks" in our lives which are those sins that live in our charater (i.e. selfishness, fighting with a sibling, lying).
Wednesday, August 12 will be our last Xtreme Wednesday for the year. The theme will be Junk Night. Come see how we can get the "junk" out of your life.

Chris Meilleur, our staff member who has been assigned the responsibility of working with our contractor to rebuild our Airline Worship and Ministry Facility, took some of our pastors on a “prayer walk” of our Airline facility, showing us the work that has been started. We also “prayer walked” through our future Youth Ministry and Church Office facilities.

The project to rebuild our Airline campus has finally gotten under way. Construction began this past week as preparations are being made to fulfill the destiny and calling God has given our church at Airline Drive. Airline Drive has been known over years as a place of prostitution motels, drug dealing, and other sinful behavior, but we believe that we are in position to be a beacon that transforms Airline from the Highway to Hell to the Road to Heaven. Keep coming back for additional updates in the future.

The question I'd been waiting for finally arrived. "Why don't y'all do these every week?" The Praise & Prayer service last night was absolutely amazing as always. We had a packed house in the School Auditorium with standing room only. God moved as we fervently prayed for our Nation and our City, and the altar was overflowing with requests as we asked the Father break strongholds and bondages. It was one of those services that we had to make people leave.

Our Celebration Hope Center has moved into its new location at our Airline Campus Shopping Center. This facility is located next to entrance to Premier Fitness at 1901-B Airline Dr. From the pictures below you can see the new Intensive Outpatient Recovery Program group room, and the new children's play therapy area as well. This facility is over 7000sq. ft of Ministry, Counseling, and Training space. The staff is uber-excited about this and you can check out their website at www.celebrationhopecenter.org

Last Night we celebrated the National Day of Prayer a little early by having a Prayer & Praise service at our Metairie Campus. Over 200 people showed up to make the earth tremble and the mountains rock with a thunderous cry of prayer and praise to the Lord. For those of you who missed it...here's Pastor Dennis opening up the evening with a challenge to lift up our Nation, Region, and City unto the Lord.
